Events - Hot Air Balloon Grand Prix in Todi 
Todi (Pg). Now in its 20th edition, the Gran Premio Italiano Mongolfieristico hot air balloon Grand Prix of Todi will take place in Ponte Naia from July 13th to 20th.Some 40 hot air balloons from all over Europe are expected to take part. Registrations of teams from England, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the United States, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria and France have already reached the organisers. The balloons will be lifting off each day, from 6.30 to 8.30am and will be offering rides to those early birds who want to enjoy the magnificent panorama of the rolling hills around Todi from the air. Anyone interested in taking a ride should book themselves, at a cost of € 70. The “Caccia alla Volpe in Mongolfiera” is the hot air balloon chase with one balloon leaving 15 minutes before the others. The winner will be the balloon that manages to land closest to the balloon with the head start. The city administration has contributed towards the organisation and sponsoring of the event this year.
