Typical Products Fairs - Pane, Prosciutto & Fantasia 2008 
Preci (Pg). From July 4th to 6th Preci, immersed in the magical landscape of the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini, will be holding the “Pane, prosciutto e fantasia” event dedicated to promoting this area’s most prized export: I.G.P. denomination prosciutto from Norcia. The event includes a typical products market fair in the old town centre, where visitors will be able to taste and buy the Norcia I.G.P. ham and other specialities such as Castelluccio I.G.P. lentils, honey, cheeses, trout, saffron, biscuits, wines, olive oil and truffles.Olive oil, wine, prosciutto and organic produce will be the theme of discussion in a series of four nutrition meetings that will include tasting sessions of typical local recipes. Those with a love of the good old days will certainly enjoy the ancient crafts revival in the town’s cellars, where traditional methods will be adopted once more for a variety of tasks such as bread baking, meat curing, cheese-making and making flour. A special “farm” has been organised for children, with an open air workshop featuring past crafts.
