Monteleone di Spoleto (Tr). Strascinati, a local pasta made using flour and water, will be celebrated on August 16th in Monteleone. It is said that in 1494 the mercenary Vitelli brothers, who had sided with the King of France during his campaign to occupy the Kingdom of Naples, arrived starving with a band of men at the gates of the castle of Monteleone and were served this dish.
